My professional work: I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Corban University in 2005 and a Master's Degree in Counseling from George Fox University in 2008. I have 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in both community mental health and private settings. I also worked for the court system, investigating and making recommendations about legal guardianships and conservatorships. I find working in the mental health field highly rewarding, and I believe in people's ability to make powerful and healing personal change. My personal life: I love the Pacific Northwest! Born and raised here, I love so much of what this region has to offer. Camping, hiking, backpacking, and outdoor running are just some of the activities I enjoy throughout the year. When not outdoors, I get my creativity on with cooking new recipes or arts and crafts. I love learning, so you will also often find me amid stacks of books on various new topics I'm jazzed about. I'm a firm believer in holistic health, so I invest in my own physical, emotional, and spiritual development. I look forward to meeting you and working together toward your goals! |
